Collab: Notes x Afro Rhythm

On the 24th of February, two worlds collide as Notes and Afrorhythm are hosting a collaborative event. “Order From The Culture” serves as an ode to and a celebration of our roots. 

Coming to this country, our ancestors had to tap into their own culture to find a sense of belonging. They built and claimed space in order to preserve their culture and passed it on to us. As the future generation, it is our responsibility to honor that culture and what it brought us, which is exactly what we aim to achieve with “Order From The Culture”.

CHILL AREA HOSTED BY JACKIE'S HANGOUT

Jackie’s Hangout organizes social activities centered around connecting young adults in Rotterdam. Their aim is to lower the threshold and discomfort of meeting new people by using the intersection of games, sports and culture as a tool.

Therefore, expect an exciting and engaging program in our Games, Culture and Community area!

CODE OF CONDUCT

Notes stresses the importance of our events being a safe space for all, so make sure to bring only good vibes! We want you to know that if something/someone makes you feel uncomfortable, you can report it to us.  Harassment of event participants, staff or volunteers at the event will not be tolerated and anyone violating this policy at our events may be expelled without refund. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments or attitudes related to gender, identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion; deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of the event, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- The main objective of our event is to build a stronger community. Notes is focused on creating a stronger bond/community feeling for the (creative) youth.

- Included in the ticket price: entry to our event, a guarantee that you are going to dance because of the fire line-up and a night full of good vibes

- Minimum age of entry: 18 years. Your ID may be asked, when in doubt of your age. Unfortunately, you can not attend our event if your age is below 18. Due to the consumption of alcohol at our events.
